Honestly, for a museum cafe this is pretty good. Service is fast and friendly. Options for all diets. Pies, sausage rolls, lasagne, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of pastries and cakes. I bought a salad and serve of chips. Three salad options, in a bowl for $14 (could have packed more into the bowl, but it was fine). Chips were $6. (Fair portion, properly cooked and not cold!) Drinks are seriously overpriced ($6 for a bottle!) but there’s chilled water on tap. Plenty of seating, inside or outside in busy spots, and there’s also a quiet spot upstairs which is lovely.

This cafe is tucked away in the art gallery and museum complex and is a good option to visit to refresh yourself during your tour of the complex, or if you happen to be nearby. It is large and light filled with an airy feel. You can grab a drink or something to eat seated inside in air-conditioning or in the covered area outside where you can catch any breezes. The freshly baked muffins are delicious and are so much better than standard cafe muffins. It's a good spot for family groups, or if you are by yourself.

As a customer, I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They had a decent selection of bakery items, and I particularly enjoyed the croissants and pastries. One thing that stood out to me was the abundance of seating areas. Whether you prefer a small table for two or a larger communal table, there were plenty of options available. It was great to see that the cafe catered to both individuals and groups. Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a comfortable spot to enjoy a delicious pastry and a warm cup of coffee.

The chai was sweet and nice! I got it on oat and extra hot (it came out warm and drinkable rather than extra hot). The salad I went half half on roasted potato and chefs choice. The roasted potato was delicious! Really big serving sizes. I would recommend!
